Kym joined Harding Martin in 1997 after graduating as a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Queensland. After a twelve month absence working in various accounting roles in Canada and subsequently qualifying as a CPA (Certified Practising Accountant), Kym was appointed as a manager in our taxation and business services division in 2003. Kym is a valued and dedicated senior member of the Harding Martin team.
Her extensive experience enables her to advise clients in taxation compliance, tax planning, finance, business structuring and valuations, together with property transactions including capital gains tax and stamp duty. Kym's involvement in the testing and implementation of various computer software packages, staff training, client seminars and staff recruitment also enables her to assist clients in these aspects of their businesses.
Kym has built exceptional relationships with her clients through her commitment to understanding their needs and improving their businesses. Her client base is constituted mainly of small to medium businesses and professionals operating in a diverse range of industries including technology, medical, retail and wholesale, agriculture, construction and investment. Kym is proficient in most of the major computerised accounting packages, including MYOB, Quicken, Quickbooks and Banklink and uses other software specific to certain industries.
