David started his career as an accountant in professional practice in 1979. He has a wealth of experience in taxation (State, Commonwealth and International), business structuring, administration, management, corporate and business law, business valuations, finance, information technology and virtually all aspects of business. He is dedicated to making a difference to his clients. David believes that his primary objectives are to take the worry from his clients, add value to their businesses and improve their personal financial situation.
With more than 25 years experience dealing with professional practices, manufacturers, builders and tradesmen, inventors, logistics and transport companies, hotels, primary industries and clients across a broad spectrum of industries, David makes a point of understanding his clients' businesses, their needs and delivering results. David believes that the best compliment a client can give is to think of Harding Martin first when there's a problem to be solved or a question that needs an answer.
Through uncompromising personalised service and the effective use of technology, David has built strong trusted advisor relationships with many of the firm's valued clients both nationally and internationally as well as throughout South East Queensland.
David graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1981 and was admitted as an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia in 1985. He is a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and has been a Registered Tax Agent since 1988.
